Administrative Staff

Debby Kinman-Ford, M.Ed.

Owner, Director

Debby has been in education for 40 years and has a Master’s degree in special education, focusing on children with behavior and social skills issues. She worked with children with special needs for twenty years both in the classroom and as a consultant.  Debby has over 20 years in Early Childhood Education. These experiences have given her the opportunity to speak nationally at numerous conferences on topics ranging from team building, growing a school, and community partnerships, to weaving religious content into curriculum. She has received local and national recognition for her unique educational programs as well as written numerous articles on education and creating positive work environments. Debby has devoted her professional life to educating children and working with families and her team to build confident, smart learners.

Outside of school, Debby has two amazing daughters, a wonderful son-in-law and two adorable grandchildren. She is grateful to have all her children and immediate family here in Gainesville. Believing  there is no greater achievement than leaving the world better than how you found it, Debby has instilled her philosophy in her own family as well as her vision for Cedarville Global Community School.

Hello, My name is Erin Bruchert. In 2018 my family of five moved to Gainesville and we are happy to call this town home! My husband and I have three preteens/teens that keep us on our toes! For over 18 years I have had the opportunity to be in childcare administration across multiple states. Whether after school with the YMCA or at Summer Camp with The Salvation Army, the adventure has been one for the books! I enjoy getting to know each teacher, student and parent that comes through our door!

Hi, I’m Danae! I’m the Team Facilitator here at Cedarville Global Community School and this is my second year here. I’ve worked with kids ever since I was a kid! Officially, I’ve worked with kids for 7 years and I am excited to use my experiences to help accomplish Cedarville’s mission! I don’t do much, but in the small time there is in life, I like to crochet and paint or draw. I am also proud to say that I have the biggest handprint on our Cedarville wall…make sure to check it out!

Hi there! My name is Ms. Ashley and I’m the Cedar’s teacher! I’m a Gainesville native and have been working in education and childcare for 4 years! I got my bachelors degree in Linguistics with a focus in ESL. I’ve lived in Japan twice teaching English to students ranging from kindergarten to high school. I love helping children develop their reading and communication skills because of my field of study. At home I have one cat named Tidus and plan to get a bunny. I hope to have an amazing year with all the kids and families!

Ms. Julia is a Gainesville, Florida native who began her teaching career in Fort Myers. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she also swam competitively for four years. Initially planning to become a high school English teacher, she took a chance on working with primary-age children at a local Montessori school and fell in love with it. After college, she returned to Gainesville and pursued her passion for early childhood education, ultimately joining Cedarville Global Community School. Now in her second year teaching the Saplings class, Ms. Julia is excited to build on the experiences and lessons from last year. Outside of her work at Cedarville, she also coaches swimming at Gator Swim Club and is continuing her education with a second Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science. In her free time, Ms. Julia enjoys swimming with Swamp Water Aquatics, reading, playing with her cat, Meows, and spending time with the cows on her grandmother’s ranch.

Hi! My name is Caroline Wheeler-Hollis. I graduated from UF in May 2024 with a BA in English and minor in Florida Teaching. Prior to Cedarville, I was a nanny for several years. I believe working with children is magical, and I am so honored to be here! In my free time, I love to read, spend time with my two cats, do yoga, and bake!

The role taught me invaluable lessons in compassion, patience, and understanding, which I aim to bring to every child I work with. Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Reed! I have been in the Army National Guard for eight years now and I’ve lived in Florida my entire life! I was in the healthcare field for about five years and had a baby and decided it was time for a change. I have a beautiful daughter named Hazel and I love being in childcare and practicing what I teach at home to her! I’m so excited to be teaching your babies; teaching truly makes me so happy!

Hello, My name is Ms. Gabby. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I have had the opportunity to be in childcare working with children aged 1-2 for the past four years, and I love it! I enjoy getting to know each teacher, student and parent that comes through our door! At home, I have three cats that my family has raised since the day they were born. Their names are Popeye, Goose, and Zelda, and they are all so playful and cuddly! I cant wait to help make this school year amazing!

Hi my name is Lucy Orton. I was born and raised in Gainesville and I just moved into my own place last year. I have worked in childcare for the last 5 years. Whether it be my babysitting services or different preschools, childcare is truly my passion! Some of my favorite hobbies include cooking, baking and spending time with my puppy. I enjoy forming connections and relationships with all kids and parents!

Hey there – I am Sean McCauley. Originally from Northern Virginia, I’ve been living in the Gainesville area for the past 17 years. I have had the pleasure of working in childcare for the last 14 years, both in preschool settings and for private families. I enjoy children of all ages, particularly infants! My husband, our young son and I enjoy bike riding, exploring trails, learning German together, and spending time with our cat, Papaya. I believe in staying a lifelong learner and following the golden rule.

Half-Day: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Full-Day: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

FRIDAY*

Half-Day: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Full-Day: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Late Pick-Up Fee:
$20 for first five minutes and $1 for each additional minute

*In order to maintain the quality of our programs we close early on Fridays for monthly faculty meetings as well as family programming.
